- To receive a quote for your project, please e-mail all of the following items prior to an in-person showroom appointment.
- A showroom appointment is typically scheduled once all items are received and you've had a chance to review the 1st draft of your project design.
STEP 1) NECESSARY PROJECT DETAILS
- Contact information
- Your own
- Full name (first and last)
- FULL project address (to determine available services)
- Telephone number
- E-mail address
- Anyone else pertinent to your project (partner, family, contractor, client, etc.)
- Full name (first and last)
- Telephone number
- E-mail address
- Project name (examples: MIL Unit, DADU, 2730 Rental Unit #2, etc.)
- Names for each area/space within your project (examples: Main Kitchen, Basement Powder Bath, Laundry, etc.)
- To start taking measurements for your space, you’ll need the following items
- Paper
- Writing utensil
- Tape measure
- Straight edge
- Having a helper is ideal, but one person (you!) needs to be consistently determining and recording the measurements
- Follow the instructions below then double-check, even triple-check, your measurements (everything should add up correctly to match)
- All measurements provided should be in inches, not feet or cm, with at best 1/8" fraction increments
- Please ensure all handwritten items (measurements and remarks) are clear, legible, labeled, and marked well
- Your plan does NOT need to be to drawn to scale
- Draw an aerial (top-view) plan showing ALL walls, windows, and doors with measurements
- If you cannot get a direct measurement, please use simple addition and subtraction to get an indirect measurement instead (example: 95-1/2" tall ceiling minus 42" tall window (with casing/trim and sills included in height measurement) equals 53-1/2" height below window to floor)
- What items you should provide measurements for:
- Please refer to this sample plan/layout (CLICK HERE) for reference
- Total wall widths and also specify if you'd like any section to stop at a certain distance (example: 107" wide wall with total cabinet and counters to stop at 60" width)
- Widths of all windows and their placements (include all casing/trims and sills within your width measurement and be specific if there is casing around each window or if window will be finished as a drywall opening only)
- Heights of each window above floor (be specific if from top of finished floor or sub-floor and measure to bottom of finished window (will casings/trims and sills))
- Ceiling heights to floor (be specific if from finished ceiling to sub-floor or finished floor)
- Soffit, bulk-head, and/or beam dimensions (for each section): widths, heights, depths, heights above floor, and placement (exmaple: 6" wide x 5" tall x 106" length ceiling beam starts 81" above floor)
- Overall photos of each area/section of your project
- Choose a MEDIUM SIZE when attaching/e-mailing photos
- Overall photos should show as much as possible to the far left, far right, ceiling, and floor for each section
- Please do not e-mail videos as these are too large of size and also difficult to pause to view items clearly
- Desired cabinet sizes and configurations (requested items will be adjusted to fit your desired cabinet and/or counter sizes and configurations as necessary)
- Wish list and desired locations for each (examples below)
- Trash/recycle pull out at right of sink
- Glass upper cabinets at left of sink wall window
- Under counter built-in microwave on far left front of island
- All final appliances' brands and model numbers (please specify if keeping existing or purchasing new for each appliance)
- Brand and model numbers for all final sinks (new or existing)
